Technobots
Scattershot
2016 Takara Unite Warriors Voyager. Sold as a gift set with other Technobots.
|
Computron (Gestalt Mode)
Computron is made by combining the five individual members of the Technobots. There is a Hasbro version of Computron available. However, Hasbro's Computron has different molding on Afterburner and Scattershot, different molds completely for Lightspeed, Nosecone and Strafe, and additional members Scrounge and Cybaxx..
The toys as featured here have been augmented with the third party Perfect Effect PC-12 Perfect Combiner Upgrade Set, adding additional weapons to the individual members and custom hands & feet to the gestalt form. (G1 Computron was available as a gift set, or by combining the five individually purchased Technobots.) |

In the G1 toyline, Blurr, Hot Rod and Kup were literally the same toys available in 1986, retooled slightly and with their weapons switched out for their new Targetmaster partners. This project is taking advantage of the fact that multiple modern updates of these characters are available to showcase different molds on this year's page.
