"Classics" Toy Catalogue -- Bonus #1
Pre-Movie Characters With "Classics" Style Toys
Who Were Not Represented In the Original G1 Toyline
If any figure's name is in blue, it has a review on this website and you may click on the name to go read it.
Note: In most articles in this series, an effort will be made to be complete, presenting one toy for every figure in the original G1 toyline even if the modern equivalent is not owned by the writer of these articles, and photos need to be acquired from outside sources.
These "bonus" articles, presenting toys representing Generation One characters who did not have toys in the original toyline, will not be as definitive and may not present every third party item representing every obscure Generation One character. They will be limited to things that are either official Hasbro or Takara products and / or items personally owned by the writer of these articles.

2013 Botcon Rainmakers ("More Then Meets the Eye" Trio)
It is the opinion of these articles that this trio of seekers does not accurately represent the "Rainmakers" as presented in the Generation One cartoon episode Divide and Conquer. Rather, they seem to better resemble the trio of Seekers who attacked Wheeljack and Bumblebee at the beginning of More Then Meets the Eye, part 1. In fact one of them, Sunstorm, shares a name with the only previously named member of that trio, while none of them share a name with the only previously named Rainmaker, Acid Storm.
The photos of these three figures were taken from the Transformers Wiki.

Hasbro Retail Rainmaker
As of the time of this writing, only one of the Rainmakers has ever been made available by Hasbro through regular retail outlets. The writer of this article never got this figure, not seeing the point of buying such a minor character who was known for having been a part of a trio without also having the other two members. Thus, the photos of this figure shall also be from the Transformers Wiki.
CHMS Seekers
While the writer of these articles has no problem with original third-party products, one thing typically avoided is straight-out bootlegs. A one time exception was made when some bootleg seekers went on sale for a particularly low price. These will be presented below for the sake of completeness, although it should be noted that they have been found to be of particularly substandard quality compared to official Hasbro and Takara products, or products made by more reputable third-party manufacturers. The Yotsuya's Reviews website does not recommend purchasing bootleg toys.

CHMS Generics
This is theoretically three of the same toy, a purple seeker representing the many nameless generic seekers seen in the background of the Generation One cartoon. Reprolabels have been used to give them each a slightly different look.
Other CHMS Seekers
Two others offerings from the endless plethora of bootleg Seeker recolours that CHMS pumped out like there was no tomorrow. One is a random black, grey, and gold Seeker that CHMS sold as "Black Starscream." (This collection treats it as a black generic, as there is only one Starscream.) The other is CHMS's take on Sunstorm.
Decepticon Car
Technically not so much a pre-movie Transformer, as much as a pre-Transformer Transformer. Inspired by a Diaclone mold-mate of the toy that would become Wheeljack, Exhaust was retroactively added to the G1 continuity when he was released in the Masterpiece toyline. This Classics version of the character comes via a Reprolabels sticker set used to convert a Wheeljack toy.
